What ports do I need to open in my firewall in order to use Net Control 2?

Teacher computer:
TCP/IP ports: 2015, 2019
UDP ports: 42012 and 42013

Student computer:
TCP/IP: 2019;
TCP/IP: 2012 (Standard Edition only, versions 11 and below)
UDP: 42012 and 42013

Connection Server computer:
TCP/IP: 21037 (Professional Edition only)

All editions:
Broadcast desktop uses UDP ports, depending on the channel selected.
2023 + (ChannelNo x 32), 2024 + (ChannelNo x 32) and 2025 + (ChannelNo x 32);
for example, Channel 0 uses ports 2023, 2024 and 2025; Channel 1 uses ports 2055, 2056 and 2057 respectively.
Speech Manager uses port
UDP 2013 on the receiver side, if the port is already used by other application (service) the software uses a first available port from a range 42436..43000

If firewall restrictions are based on program module permissions you need to enable the following modules:

(versions 11.10-11.11):

(versions prior 11.10):
netctl.exe
ncserver.exe
ncvserver.exe
ncview.exe

in addition, for all versions:
ahs.exe

connserv.exe (PRO edition only)

connsvmc.exe (PRO edition only)

all modules are placed in Net Control 2 program folder, depending on the edition:

for 32 bit Windows editions:

C:\Program Files\Net Control 2 Classroom
C:\Program Files\Net Control 2 SmallClass
C:\Program Files\Net Control 2 PRO

for 64-bit Windows:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Net Control 2 Classroom
C:\Program Files (x86)\Net Control 2 SmallClass
